Silicon Nitride (Si3N4)
Silicon nitride ceramics are all β-phase based ceramics with a density of 3.2 and no melting point at atmospheric pressure. In a nitrogen atmosphere with a pressure of 1-10 MPa, they can be used at 2000°C without decomposition. It is extremely resistant to high temperatures and has amazing chemical resistance, being able to resist almost all inorganic acids and caustic soda solutions of up to 30%, as well as many organic acids; it is also a high-performance electrical insulating material.
Silicon nitride has a series of advantages such as high strength, high heat resistance, corrosion resistance, high hardness, high wear resistance, low density, low deformation, resistance to thermal shock, etc. Especially the tensile strength and bending strength can be compared with metal, can be widely used in different fields of industry, the main fields are metallurgy, chemical industry, machinery, aerospace, new energy vehicles, energy and high-end equipment fields.
